WHAT IS SPLOST…AND HOW CAN I HELP?
Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST)
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners intends to call for a referendum on September 18th for a 1% Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST), and the funds will be utilized by the County, and the cities of Douglasville, Austell and Villa Rica.
Public Input Hearings
The County has scheduled four Public Input Meetings to hear comments from citizens on projects they would like to have considered should the referendum pass. The Public is invited to attend and participate.
